Central Australia

Located in the Northern Territory with Alice Springs at its heart, Central Australia is a vast expanse of outback known as the Red Centre. This area is distinguished by its reddish desert landscapes, steep mountain ranges, and profound gorges, which serve as a natural habitat for various wildlife including kangaroos and cockatoos. Among its most iconic landmarks is Uluru, or Ayers Rock, a towering sandstone rock formation revered as a sacred site by Indigenous Australians.
